so its not an all-star line-up... but the point is, they're coming together to pay tribute to one of the greatest men in rock in recent years, and there will be plenty of your fav alice in chains songs to go round... so here's the line up so far

the murder of crows(as you know)
myles from blotooth
james guilmartin
minerva
the sundogs
after the party(hopefully-i haven't heard from them in a while)
paradox(i also haven't heard from these guys in a while)

its gonna be a great night, and hopefully we're going to be filming it, to be put together with tapes of the other tributes going on around the world on the same day and added to a documentary being made about Layne's life...

I can't f**king belive that i'm going too miss it it's just not on!! Alice In Chains are the best grunge band ever (Nirvana being second best) but I will be playing a whole lot of Alice In Chains stuff when i'm on holidays. Alice In Chains website is~www.aliceinchains.com

The date for the tribute is Layne's birthday as far as I know.

first off, the tribute is being held on the 22nd because it is Layne's birthday... it wasn't a week after he died because these things take organisation.
the bands are playing mostly Alice in Chains, but some have their own song they wrote about Layne so they'll be playing those too.
i dont know how many people are expected... hard to guess really.
advertising... i was on to phantom about help with promotion, pete said he'd help me but he hasn't gotten back to me yet so... i have flyers and all, what you see below is the design. posters are outta my price range unfortunately, and so is tv

the 1 downside that the festivals in engaland ( u hav 2 say it with an extra syllable or it's just not funny) and Damien Rice are both on the same night. It sucks. But what can u do? c u all there
