    Right another bit of total noobitude. What are the differnet formations good for? I'm guessing you'd put your fighters in a wall to concentrate fire on a capital ship but what are formations like sphere, claw and X good for? First in again gets to call me an idiot.

    sphere is good for attacking capital ships, they surround the ship and keep pounding on it, for some reason the ship being attacked is rearly able to target its attackers.

    Generally speaking ,go for the delta , the X , or the all powerful CLAW

    80+ bombers in Sphere V Capital ships = dead capital ships.
