Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

On a similar theme, the one advertising Imperial Leather where tha guy is taking a bath in the steeplechase water jump in the middle of the race is pretty funny too.

    ...the first time anyway....

Interesting point about that ad, is the commentator.

They use Hamilton Bland, the former BBC swimming commentator, who was fired because he recommened types of swimming pools to local authorities in Britain, after he had recieved kick-backs from the manufacturers to plug them, as it were...

Always wondered what happened to him.........

    English Comedy is Sh*T

Cast: Eric Bana, Jennifer Connelly, Sam Elliott, Nick Nolte, Josh Lucas
    Directed by: Ang Lee
    Writer: James Schamus
Produced by: Gale Anne Hurd, Avi Arad, James Schamus, Larry Franco
Executive Producers: Stan Lee, Kevin Feige
Acclaimed filmmaker Ang Lee’s concept for his film adaptation of the classic Marvel Comics series, The Hulk, combines all the elements of a blockbuster visual effects-intensive superhero movie with the brooding romance and tragedy of Universal's classic horror films. In depicting The Hulk as both a superhero and a monster, a wish fulfillment and a nightmare, Lee and his team have stayed true to the early subversive spirit of the character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, while completely updating The Hulk and projecting it into the dangers and aspirations of contemporary times.
Eric Bana (Black Hawk Down) stars as scientist Bruce Banner, whose inner demons transform him in the aftermath of a catastrophic experiment. Bana plays both the human Banner and – through groundbreaking visual effects technology provided by the Oscar®-winning Industrial Light and Magic – the superhuman Hulk. Academy Award® winner Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind) portrays Betty Ross, whose scientific genius unwittingly helps unleash The Hulk; Nick Nolte (The Thin Red Line) plays Banner’s brilliant father, who unwittingly passes on a tragic legacy to his son, and Sam Elliot (The Contender) portrays the commander of a top-secret military research center.

No, the best ad at the moment has to be the Clarks shoe ad were the red haired kid is dancing with the earphones, quality. Its one of those rare ads that earns caesars stamp of approval, also worthy of a mention are the new toyota ads.

My favourite beer ad has to be the old guinness one where the guy is dancing with the pint. No more, no less. Pure class
