I have a philips pcrw1610k/00 It will only work with roxio easy cd creator 5 basic the softwear i got with it ? It will not work with any other, any one have any idea how to get it to work with adaptec ecdc or roxio ecdc platinum?

get the latest drivers/firmeware from the offical website
also try a different ASPI layer - google your self some 'forceaspi'
