Crap sound in the Ambassador!!!

    Anybody in agreement with the sound in the
    Ambassador... this total crap!!! Pretty
    much every gig I've seen there, the sound
    was atrocious.... Stereolab, Stephen Malkmus,
    Pulp etc etc.... the list goes on.

    And with them pushing most of the bands to the Ambassador it just gets infuriating.

    Unless you're bang smack in the middle of venue
    by the sound-desk, if totally unbalanced and
    downright shoddy...

    If you have this hang-up why not head to the
    feed-back section on www.mcd.ie . MCD have
    already shown an interest to emails myself
    and some friends have sent on the issue...
    so if you feel the same, put it to 'em!!

    Maybe then, MCD might think of channeling some
    of our hard-earned cash into sorting it out....

    when i saw mansun in there, one of my favourite bands, the sound tainted the gig completely!

    too true bren.The sound is a disgrace.The olympia is not vicar st by any imagination but its admn site better than the ambassador.It reminds me of "the national stadium" in the 80`s &90`s.like sitting around a walkman in acrowded bar.Why they heve to do a whelans and put the bars in the venue is beyond me.Lets kick mcd`s ass and get some movement on this......
