Ode to Daneel

Great to see Daneel back in action, I'm going to post up again a poem I wrote for Daneel some time ago, just to show how much Daneel is loved and how much he was missed in absence. There has never been any other bot that has given me such pleasure.

Ode to Daneel:

O Daneel, Daneel! wherefore art thou Daneel?
Deny thy MindPhuck and refuse thy ban;
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I'll no longer be an Op.

'Tis but thy Host that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though an Bot.
What's a Bot? it is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other Bot!
What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;

So Daneel would, were he not Daneel call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owe
Without that bot. Daneel, Op thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself. I love thy Daneel
