Rackspace Network utilizes connections to multiple backbones to ensure that data reaches the end-user in the fastest, most efficient manner possible. So the Speed will at the most highest quality,

Most hosting companys over here offer too much. Many companys use only a few MBs and require 25-30MB of space at most. Ypu should try havin a small 20MB or so.

If i was looking for hosting.... i would need Windows though due to ASP :(

hosting >>> php, asp , total control(control panel), third domain names, speed.

It's a very competitive market, so best of luck.
I would advise you do two things:
    1. Read all the threads on the hosting board
    2. Have a look at all your competitors (yes - that includes me :D )
    3. Find something that nobody, or hardly anybody, else is offering
