right it seems to me that this forum is SLOWLY dieing from the barrage of spam and "top xx evar" polls.

so what does the future hold?personally i'd like to see ppl posting gig dates for the underground scene in ireland(i'm almost out of touch with it )
and possible opinions of the gigs they have gone to.
so any other views on the future of this forum?

Too true....

But then again this is a bit of a boards wide problem.

Just look at Music Radio, its a very rare occsion that there isn't a poll or your favourite **** song....

God only knows what the future holds....

This is happening the internet worldwide, you get kiddies starting 10 threads 'whats you favourite xxx' everyone replies to all of them so they start another 10, the cycle continues.

Best thing to do is not reply and post info on any gig's you've been to or heard from.

C'mon then! Post a few topics you'd think are interesting.

There's more than enough dedicated posters here who aren't kids that just blab uselessly.

But there is a problem with spam. And it seems that the board has indeed gone downhill since the last big episode. I'm going to do up a charter. Possibly even consider zero tollerance for this kind of carry on in the future.

Zero tolerence doesnt work usually, alot of people get p*ssed of with it and bugger off,and before you know it you see the tumbleweed rolling by.

you seem to do an awful lot of compaining about the level of posts on this board, you nearly get me banned for having alaugh, and yet you dont exactly set the place alight with interesting chat.

so, its not a case our views on this forum.
what are your views, and how do you propose to make it better.

When you think about it the whole internet is going to hell, just look at the gaming scene should make that obvious enough. Hopefully it will be a bit better after the summer kiddies have buggered off tho.
