Just to let you all know that the best metal band in Ireland, Skyjack, are playing a rare gig in Eamon Dorans on Friday, 20th June

Door tax is €10 or €8 if you say 'I love Gigsmart' at the door or show some proof of poverty (student card, pension book, free travel pass, cassette walkman)

Expect to hear some pretty fantastic new new stuff and remember, as the old saying goes, if you can't score at a skyjack gig you couldn't score in a whorehouse with a fistful of €50's

ShermanM4 and Sixdown are playing with a Guns N Roses tribute band called Mr Brownstone, gig starts around 9.30-10.00 there is a cover charge

Friday 20th of June in Shortts bar Castlebar.
ShermanM4, Sixdown and Fuktifino are playing show starts at 10.00pm no cover charge::D

Sunday August 3rd (bank-holiday weekend) in Shortts bar, Castlebar. We are holding a Benefit gig for Emerald Promotions

The gig will start at 6pm and we have 8 bands playing so far, there will be a huge cover charge of 3 euros on the door. the line up is .....

Just to let you know that Delaney - one of Manchesters top unsigned bands is travelling over to the mother land, to play at Eamon Dorans with Shalka on Saturday the 23rd of August.

The band has strong irish roots and is looking to hook up with fellow musicians, to share gigs in Ireland and the UK.

Delaney are currently heading a new cooperative for musicians in the UK called "Many Hands", aimed at bringing like minded people together, in order to get the unsigned music scene the promotion and ultimately the recognition it deserves.

If you are free on the evening please come down to the gig and have a listen and a chat with the band. If you wish, you can visit the bands website at www.delaney-uk.com, go to the media section and listen to a few of the bands tunes.

We look forward to seeing you there.
