Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Although in the past i have kept the view tat "wap is crap", i recently bought my first phone wit wap abilities.

    Is boards avaible in any shape of form on wap???

    You can go the www.boards.ie URL, but then you get a msg saying '50 images downloading' or sumfink so the speed of the phones is a bit of prob. Maybe someone with some WML (?) skillz could get together with Cloud/DeV and write up a small screen which shows the ten latest threads, and lets you read them (without all the gooey pics and formatting) and might also let you login and read your PM's. Now there's a project........

    There appears to be some demand for WAP access to boards, but I don't know if it would merit the time involved.

    Still, I could knock something up if the admins either supplied me with the applicable MySQL handling PHP functions or outputted the necessary content as simple XML.

    Winters knows a good bit bout it as far as i know, i will direct his attention. there wud have to be major restructuring though, as u said 50 images downlaodin to ur wap phone:(
