I think Naas is one of the best towns in the county, it has everything you need in it, and best of all it's easy to get out of

I think it has almost everything, bar a specialist games shop, but then again, I'm a bit of a geek lol. Seriously though, there are many ways to get in and out of Naas, and the nightlife isn't half-bad around here either ;)

Maybe a business oppurtunity :) - might be a small market though!

I don't live too farway from Esmondale... I live over in Cill Corbain, which is opposite the CBS Secondry, but I'll be moving to lakelands in less than a month. I work in Superquinn atm, so it's not too far to walk.

Actually, I'm after finding out that the 'Naas area' covers Naas Town, Sallins, Johnstown, Robertstown, Donadea, Prosperous, Eadestown and Jigginstown (at the very least)

I'm good thanks, how about yourself? And yep, I'm still in Superquinn... After 2 years lol. I agree with you that all the nightclubs are easy to get to, and the women aren't too bad either :D Btw, this may sound like a sily question, but where do I know you from? lol

Yep it does ^_^ How have you been man? I haven't seen you in ages.... Not since you left SQ all that time ago... (Must have been at least a year now...) And I'm still a nutty bastard for staying there ;):p

Edit: I think I might have seen you the odd time, though I'm not sure...

Ah, to re-visit an old tread....

I lived in Dublin all my life, until I moved to Naas [Esmondale] 2 years ago. No way am I looking back. Dublin just doesn't compare to Dublin, until all the Dublin folk start coming in en-masse.

Things that have changed recently since I arrived....
    * Supervalu is now Spar
    * The sports bar at the corner of Newbridge road is now PQ with night club. It's not bad
    * No more Manor pub. I think that's what it's called
    * The Five Lamps, I don't think, will ever change :)

One thing that bugs me about one place in Naas. The Naas Court hotel has a nightclub up top. It has NO seats in there at all. I went in there a few weeks ago with my better half, took one look around and walked out. Demanded my money back.

The head doorman looked at me funny. "It's a nightclub", he said, "What do you want to sit down for". I didn't reply for fear of not getting my 30 odd Euro back. Yes, most expensive club in Naas and don't have any seats.

He's right though, what DO you want to sit down for?

What I was trying to say, maybe not too clearly, is that Naas is much better to Dublin in many respects. But as time goes on, the Dublin folk are moving to the outer limits... Naas, Navan etc. And bringing their way of life with them.

Their way of life is one of the main reasons I left Dublin.
I don't think I want to explain it anymore than I have, if you don't mind.

I was gonna comment on the presence of Straffan and Ardclough in this list, but I guess that would make it a little too clear where I live :)

Left Celbridge 15 years ago and I've lived "near Maynooth" ever since.

I've moved away several times but always return (Sallins is such a great place)
