    ok. as you all probably know i am a Death Metal fan :eek:

    so i was wondering how many other Death fans are out there?
    or more like how many of you listen to bands from the black/death/doom types of metal?

    and what "other" band do you listen to when you are not listening to Metal. Right now someone got me hooked on Dredg's El Ciel(not out till September 11th) It's just music. cant explain what type(goes from rock to jazz to ambient)

    As for other types of metal please list them

    there are lots of stuff i could not fit in that poll. polls are an inexact beast at best.eg
    trash/screamcore/alternate/northern hyperblast/etc

    there are many kinds of metal out there. i'm not saying the list is all there is to it,it's just suited more to the topic

    I think you might be right. Northern Hyperblast is odly, not very northern. Didn't Hyperblast start as a collision of Brazilian noisecore and German thrash? Not sure where the northern part came in... Was it the influence of Canadian Melodic Death, or Swedish Troll Metal?

    it seems you missed the humour in that post.i was just pointing out that there are many form of metal. some are just stupidly sub-divided.and again i'll say : i'm not saying the list is all there is to it,it's just suited more to the topic.

    i got what you were waying just chose to ignore it. the sub genres of metal itself are more an indication of what to expect from a band..and anyway it's completly off topic
