Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Whats the deal with cancelling?
Do you have to Write to Sky a month before the cancel date?

I cancelled my subscription at one stage three years ago after losing my job. Best thing to do is cancel the direct debit yourself to totally ensure you won't be billed and also tell Sky. I had no problems.Once your past the contract expiry period( 1 Year) there is no issue.

Do it german style,I did. For eg your contract runs out on 5th Oct 2002.Send them a registerd letter dated for 3rd or 4th Sept stating that you want them to terminate service according to contract expiration. They then cannot deny that you failed to inform them 4 weeks to termination time.
Phonecall can only lead to 10 mins on hold followed by some tosser pleading to get you to keep contract. Then they can deny etc and it happened to my brother so written is best.
Whatever you do , Well done. FTV is a better service. Good luck.

    HI

They really do not like you to cancel, they will try to get you to keep some sort of package. I was put on to a sales rep who gave me a right load of bull about how the price had not gone up at all it was just the change over to the euro.

You have to give them a months notice.

    Michael
