    ok,
    how do i do this?
    iv got a crossover cable,
    one pc has windows ME and the other Win2k,
    I tried but i failed,
    cud some1 please talk me threw the procedure,

    Must both be in the same workgroup named...say...

    Home

    Then must have same class c IP except the last digit

    192.168.0.2

    and

    192.168.0.3

    ping each from the other.

    reboot.

    then same username and password login on both

    then each shows up in the others network neighbourhood window

    you are networked.

    It's in the FAQ but...
    try www.wown.com for the settings etc.
    Also make sure that you setup an account on the 2K machine for whatever username you're logging into the ME with.
