Now that this is a whole Eastern seaboard board, lets expand this one to the new greater community, as it as sure as hell effects more people than just Meath....

As the Midland East becomes more and more like commuter-ville than a vibrant county, I'm just curious how many folks commute to Dublin or work/study locally.

So there's the poll. Up there.

I was going to have the smoking jacket option, where Meath is my weekend hideaway (and combined Atari Jaguar) but there are only 10 spots. :(

I get the bus to work in Dublin. Very hard to get one home though, because the bloody things are always packed with people.

I work and live in Dublin. I come home more like once every 2-3 weeks than every weekend. I used to commute to Dublin by bus for work and also for some of my time in college. That I would never do again standing freezing my ass off at 6:50 in the morning and feeling grateful (grateful!) when the damn bus didn't go past me full. Oh no never again.

I've changed the poll above to reflect the changes of the expanded region.

Hmm, that'd be a new course since I was there.

I hope they have improved the PC's there.

When I left in May '97 some Pentium PC's with Windows 95 appeared for the first time....

Are Doug Turnbull and Ray Manley still there?

I dunno about them still being there or not... Can't see them on any staff lists anyway. The computers are quite good and fast. I download alot of stuff there. I'm happy with the place anyway.

I did to the Electronics, and I'm not surprised Ray moved on, he was understudy to Dan O'Brien as deputy head of the department.

As for Doug.... the less said....

Thankfully I work and live in the suberbs, but I often have to drive into town. This week is great because the schools are out and the traffic is down to a trickle.
