What with the new rules for signature sizes etc, could we also not allow animated gifs? For example, here's mirv's sig: [Snip. Do not post rapidly flashing images - I will disable the accounts of anyone who does. Cloud.] As you can see, epilepsy-inducing.

That's not very fair, I'm sure he didn't choose that sig in the hope of inducing an epileptic fit in someone...don't mods have the ability to delete/alter sigs?

Anyway it's all been sorted out, but mirv should not have (1) had an animated sig and (2) had such a fupping annoying fast-flashing animated sig. Lucky he was at the boards beer to explain himself, otherwise he'd still be banned

Seems like a good thread to post this in:

What about abnormally long sigs made up of only text? Are there guidelines for this like the pixels x pixels restrictions for images?

To point one out:

Just in the spirit of keeping sigs fairly tidy, like the image sig new rules.

Oh no, I like the sigs. I even read the 20 line ones ... once. I don't like having to see the overly large ones over and over and over..

And, while we're here - what's happened to the image-size-detectomatic-gizmo ? I've seen loads of oversized sigs in the last couple of days. Not working or switched off?

Too many pics (and then text aswell). Plus a lot of people here are getting pretty sick of others constantly recommending Firefox (even the people that use it).
