Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Weird stats

    Havent had time to do the full stat count etc cos of the impending alcohol abuse but two interesting things...

    1. We had our busiest day ever two days ago for posts.... so much for summer being dead :)

    2. We now have 227 forums (though about 20 of them are defunct).

    We're running at about 45,000 to 55,000 page impressions a day at the moment.

    The current slow response from the site is not due to anything we have done recently it seems but due to extremely poor routing between Eircom and Nevada. They know about it and are working on it. We're not the only ones and we have a bug-report ticket open about it.

    After the boards beer we hope to have enough cash to upgrade the server in our new hosts (we're moving from this place) and we'll install VB3 at the same time.

    Things are looking good now so long as people support the site and go to the beer nights we should be able to put some extra cash into the server as the hosting should be taken care of.

    Wow, that would be nice hahaha

    I am a heavy contributor lately, about a 20 a day man. Trying to give up though, but these patches are useless.
