    Hi,
Just wondering what the story is with swapping your sub card and a FTA card in your digibox.

Do you need to turn off power to the box before doing this?

Is it bad for the box to do this on a regular basis?

Is it bad for the cards to do this?

Just wondering as I am thinking of ordering a FTA card from West-Sat today.

    It's all in here.

    Well somewhere in there anyway.

Basically you don't have to turn off the box. It is recommended that you swap the cards on a common channel, e.g. 327, 181

Yep, easy as pie. Just flick to a FTA channel such as Sky Travel Extra, swap the cards, think about life for 20 seconds, and then you're new EPG should be ready to go.

I've had no problems with doing this at all.
