    Hey,

Just got back from the Apple factory- didnt get to see them assembling imacs though. I saw their call centres for Applecare and AppleStore and their other various offices.

She gave me a presentation on the ibook and powerbook, Im leaning towards the ibook 12.1" Cos it's small and that's what I need. I have a desktop at home so Im not leaning towards a bigger screen / desktop replacement. If I like OSX enough I'll buy the 17" widescreen flat panel :)

The powerbook seemed sweet, but Im just going into my 2nd year of Computer Science now and I figured when I really would need a more powerful computer a couple of years later - and have the money for it - Id probably get myself the latest one then.

I dont really like the translucent keys of the ibook.

The 14.1" seems too big and the keyboard is still the same size

    The powerbook is beautiful :D

But the 12.1" ibook is cute also..

Thanks for all the info nonetheless on which one to get.
