    On the verge of being imbecilic Acclaim, in its zealous marketing company to promote the soon to be released first-person shooter Turok: Evolution, today announced yet another publicity stunt. While early the company invited five gamers to change their names to 'Turok' for one year, now it is offering $10,000 to the first infant born on 9-1-02 and named 'Turok' for one year by their parents.
    An spokesman for Acclaim said: "Knowing how hard it is for parents to decide on a strong name for their child, we thought of an innovative way to solve this dilemma and help jump start their savings for the future. While names like Michael and Hannah are very popular, they hardly instill fear in the hearts of playground bullies and closet monsters, and we're thrilled to give one lucky child the bold power of the Turok name."     Somehow I get the feeling that this game is going to be complete and utter shíte considering the how much they are seeking media attention.

    Pretty much all the Turok games have been complete ****e, i can understand how it got a sequel, maybe even a third game but its just getting stupid now.

    The turok games rocked IMO, but this is just plain stupid, £10,000 to name your child turok? stupidity in the extreame.....

    Changing their last names to hunter and giving the child the middle name 'dinosaur' would just make him the coolest kid in town.

    yes turkor was pretty cool game, do you remember the way the dinosaurs would fight each other if you got away, and the biggest weapons looked great, like a small a bomb

    Sorta "exactly" like doom.............they didn't fight if you got away, if one happened to hit another, they beat the daylights outta each other, doom started it, its been thrown into many an fps.
