Just got an unofficial confirm from the Office of their Dublin partner that something is shifting in the next two weeks at VERY favorable rates.

Marketing evades the question neatly and the support and information line, not UNLIKE BTesat, KNOW NOTHING WHATSOEVER.

As has been stated before, theres nothing wrong with a few rumours. The problem occurs when people take the rumours to be gospel truth.

Anyway, There could be some sort of grain of truth in here somewhere. UTV and thier partner down here have been interested in Flat Rate for some time. The chances of a product being available in 2 weeks are in the realms of fantasy land however.

Want to expand on the info any more?

Everything about UTV just seem so... nice. Why can't WE have a company that actually seems to give a sh!t?

They've been operating down here for a few of years now.

The UTV dial up product is very good. I know you have to pay per min but the service is good and the staff are very helpful if you need to contact them. I have been using them since I moved down here and the connection speeds are much better than what I can get with eircom or iol AND I generally connect first time.

I will second that. I have been with UTV-Internet since they were originally DNA-Internet and have had VERY few problems with them, I get consistent (and good) connection rates and its 99% of the time, a first attempt connection.

Oh .. and when the staff say they'll get back to you, they actually do.

As Dustaz will happily tell you, I am a Korean Man who makes stuff up ALL THE TIME...

Why I even went to far this morning as to hack the UTV site and post this:

    http://www.utvip.com/signup.asp?f=0.1357805&type=flat+rate+internet

There is really no end to my twisted perfidy, is there Dustaz?

    :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Thank You UTV!! I AM LOVING THIS!!!
