my uncle informed me today that he's been told that the extra subscribtion is now availible in ireland.
can any one please confirm this for me?
no news on sky+

According to Sky, the Sky+ system is not looking likely in Ireland until next year.

The introduction of the mirror sub would be welcome though. The only reason not to have it is to get some of us to pay out two full subscriptions. Sky are being rather greedy on that front.

a subscription identical to your current one but for cheaper. you pay for it on top of your current subscription and it is used in another digibox to enable you to watch 2 different channels in different rooms at the same time
