Should everyone shut up about Sigs / Sig Images?

Well, I for one am fed up about people giving out about sigs and sig images, I'd prefere for them to be turned off alltogether then everyone giving out.

It's a bit pointless posting a poll for such a loaded question as it's blatantly obvious the 'yes' vote will have it.

It's a bit obvious you've posted this in direct response to my posting complaining about someone's animated sig.

That aside, the less complaints/bitchiness on the boards the better. Hell- everyone's entitled to make mistakes or get cranky at times... and everyone is entitled to their opinions. A couple of points, though:

1. Big signatures mean longer download times mean larger phone bills. F**k that!

2. I have very sensitive eyes. Animated signatures, particularly shaky or jerky looking ones can actually *hurt* to focus on. F**k that too!

3. I don't want to have to switch them off. Some of them are quite funny or inciteful.

To be honest, it's a load of bollocks and at the end of the day, I really couldn't care less for it.

Bard, I agree with you, and I dont think its fair that people have to dl large img sigs, or have fits looking at imgsigs. TBH I would prefere for sigs to be disabled, rather then these constant arguments occuring. Or at least if sig aren't turned off, then anyone found to be breaking the rules immediatly has there sig deleted, and the ability for them to create a new sig disallowed. (Note to anyone: I don't know if that can be done)

But for a little matter of a sig, it seems to be causing a lot of disharmony....
