Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Request_Building/DIY forum

    Does Anybody else think a DIY/Building Maintenence Forum would be a good idea?

    This request is born of necessity as i will be undertaking a large scale renovation project this winter and would find it a useful place to exchange tips and information.And maybe as a place users could post up their building projects.

    As the board demograpic ages i think such a board would become more popular as more users enter the property market.

    Does anyone have the required building expertise and inclination to mod such a board?

    This is not a vote for or against just a recommendation if you do set up this board make sure you have a disclaimer "Boards.ie takes no resposibility for advice, opinions giving on this board" or something to that effect. We don't want to see Dev in the High Court when some muppet Black & Deckers a power line in his house :p

    I believe the renaming of the Gardening board to something like Gardening/DIY would be the best option.
