Anyone want to help me with the O2 gprs settings? managed to get GRPS enabled on a speakeasy simcard, using the APN internet for internet access, and the APN wap.dol.ie for wap, the ppp setup always fails,do you need a specific password for either? have i got the right APN.

    for web

    APN: internet OR open.internet
    DNS1: 62.40.32.33
    DNS2: 62.40.32.34
    Server Assigned IP
    username: gprs
    password: gprs

    for wap

    APN: wap.dol.ie
    Gateway: 192.168.90.74
    username: gprs
    password: gprs

username / password can be left blank depending on what you are using to connect, some dial-up configs need a username/password to work so i just stick in gprs for both and it works :)

Actually just found out they use different APNs for speakeasy, the others wont work

    for wap: pp.wap.o2.ie
    internet: pp.open.internet or pp.internet

the internet ones arent working yet, works well and it's free at the moment on prepeaid

thanks for the heads up - only done post-paid GPRS on O2 so far - who did you have to call to get it activated - have a speakeasy sim here and would like to get it activated?

    suppose pp stands for pre-paid?

    thanks
