Problem with IE

    I have a problem with IE ,some sites come up as a plain black screen ,these sites include boards.ie and hotmail ,this has just happened recently ,has there been some kind of restriction put on accessing these sites and if so how do I turn it off.

    Your going to have to provide a little more information then that.
    You accessing from work or from home?
    If home, what ISP are you using?
    Have you tried reinstalling your browser?
    Have you tried using a different browser like netscape or Opera??

    This problem happens in work but only on one particular pc ,
    I'll reinstall IE and see what happens and get back to you

    you could also try repairing IE or try accessing th sites thru www.the-cloak.com

    if its just on 1 pc..
    its the IE install..

    if it was on all pcs..
    it would be security restrictions on the proxy or firewall..

    eg. ISA can block site access out totally
