DSL over Cable in KK

I heard rumors that Chorus provide DSL over cable and am looking for info / opinions.. (KK area) The chorus website is woefully bereft of *any* useful information and to top it all off, the sales numbers for home or buisness arent working.. should I perhaps walk away now or does anyone have a good experience? They provide broadband access via cable not DSL. DSL is over copper wire.

AFAIK, there is a thread or two under the IrelandOffline board relating to this. Check those threads first.
