Add Community/Forum - Racing Sims

If we could get a public community forum, see how it goes from there. Need a place to laugh at each others lap times and post details on racing meetups

discussions on the games board quickly disappear under the deluge of other posts about minesweeper etc

Wouldn't that be better going in games?

Sports games? With footie, bball, racing and manager sims etc.

That'd be cool.

I could talk to myself there about Championship Manager and NBA 2k1, I'd need a heavy handed mod though in case I started accusing myself of cheating at CM.

I agree totally,imagine a community in ireland with possible GPL lan parties,i was at Goodwood with some of the guys from RSC forums for its GPL event ,awesome fun racing side by side with your buddies.

But why just racing sims, what about Arcade games like GT and Project Gotham Racing etc etc?

Those are funs games too.

it would encompass all racing games, and hopefully some online leagues ... sure even gene rally would be included

we're looking for a 'Public Community forum', to see if theres enough interest in racing sims and in particular online racing to support one. otherwise we'll just end up posting in the games forum about stuff that has little or no general interest, like the latest car mod releases for GPL etc. if we don't hav one, then games forum it will be

Blacknova and Tribes have very little traffic, and we aren't even asking for a board under games, but a public community board. . After just discovering Grand Prix Legends, I'm rather annoyed that there is no Irish board to post questions, laptimes etc on.

if the admins want, they can rename and make public the hiv clan forum, or delete it n add this new one, as theres no activity whatsoever on that private board, n the clan isn't intending to 'game' for some time (no more cs after csli finishes)

I never understood racing games and flight sims frankly.... or indeed things like "Extreme Fishing" on the play station.

However there are tons of people who support both, so we will most likely create this board, in fact I'm thinking of making it a games category forum.... its not like it costs us anything.
