    basicly -

    the humour forum is pretty big by now. jokes don't really go out of date like other threads...


    would it be feasable to have a script that picks a thread from the humour forum at random (even pseudo random would do:)),
    then have another script that gets the first post of that thread (which will contain the joke).

    The idea is that a boardster can click on a link and get a joke from the archives.

    The stripping script probably isn't necessary, often the reactions to jokes are funnier than the jokes themselves.
