    are all the flat rate internet packages I see, for off-peak usage? Are there any out there for peak hours?

    flat rate peak hours now thats just crazy talk :confused:

    but realy its beacuse there is no friaco avilable to the isp's here

    crazy, why so? Sorry just moved over from the UK. You could get flat rate for off-peak or all day..

    yes we know how much better they have it in other countries
    u have just moved to one of the most expensive countries in the world for internet

    Until a few weeks ago there was no off-peak package either.

    UTV have said that the reason the package is only off-peak is because of the lack of FRIACO, the wholesale flat-rate service from Eircom.

    Don't just be amazed and angry. The time is ripe for a change, as the grotesqueness of the situation is finally dawning on parts of the media. Help to push, sign the petition to the Communications Minister and the ODTR (Regulator) - and make others sign it, too.

    In the meantime you can use the new counter on our web site to keep track of your costs of surfing with one of "free" packages...
