Small bit of a prob here...
I have a small peer-2-peer network here connected to a hub.
One of the boxes is running XP-pro and another Win2k Pro.
Both boxes could see each other perfectely and I could access the shared folders no prob.
    Untill this evening.
For some reason I cannot access one box from the other and vice versa...
Pinging is no problem, but actual access will just not happen.
The error message that I get tells me that I do not have the correct permission but I checked the permissions and they were all correct.
    Any ideas?

has the password expired, look in the user manager for the machine that manages the username and password, ensure it ain't locked out etc.

If pinging is fine they can se each other.

Therefore it is a workgroup name and/or username password problem

    I realise that!
However u/n & p/w are active, wokgroup is set correct, IP's and subnets correspond etc.
I've un-mapped the shared folders and tried to re-map them but it just keeps telling me that I do not have the permissions to do so.
I'd be ****ed if I know....
