Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It appears to me that BSkyB are about to make a major offensive on the ROI. A number of things have happened over the last few weeks to bring me to this conclusion:

    1. Champions League being broadcast on wednesdays on ITV News Channel. As we dont get ITV 2, this decision must have been taken with the ROI in mind.

    2. Sky News active being revamped with a ROI flavour.

    3. Although, NOT official, it now appears thay UTV & Channel 4 may be comming on stream soon.

Put together. thats quite a package to slam the opposition with. THey are probably waiting to put the loose ends to Sky+ and this interactive thing before they make an official announcement

yeah but the Champs league games on ITN news were only for cable viewers in the UK. SKY Digi viewers wont get the games due to usual rights issues. Also have u noticed how NTL and Chorus have been running ads boasting that they have UTV and C4. Im sure SKY will want to put an end to that competitive advantage they have ASAP.

They haven't tailored it that well!

I saw an ad during the match coverage Wednesday night on TV3 for Sky, and one of the reasons to switch to Sky was for The Ashes coverage on Sky Sports.......

I don't think they have thought this one through :)

what if UTV will be a version with various programmes blacked out. this is very likely if that new test on 10.906 V 22.0 5/6 is UTV for the ROI. cable will still have the advantage then. what is needed is a BBC News channel be it BBC World or News 24 and five (Channel 5) which has lots of great sporting coverage and seems to be better after the relaunch last monday

If CH4 and UTV do arrive, then I dont mind paying the extra amount in the subscription. Thats just my $0.02... ;)
