Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is something I just don't understand. Whenever I see a guy with his arm or leg in a cast, I feel mad inside. It's like an adrenaline rush! WTF is this? It's been goin on for months now (probably a lot longer but I realised a few months ago)

    Does this happen anyone else?

Yayyy! Something I can get all mindly on. Basically This condition of yours is either:
    A revulsion of your own(Which I think wouldn't say much 4 u)
A general disgust at the suffering humanity inflicts upon itself.
A fear of yours to be in that sort of condition.
    Any of these three?

I don't think it's the other two anyway. Not sure, 'cos as I said I dunno what's goin on!

BTW, I'd be most interested in gettin in contact with other ppl in the same situation to try to understand it more. You can PM or email me.

Technically A human Cannot fell rgerget for another human because of his own greed for success. He sees some one with a natural disability and, becuase of human nature, he naturally wants to exploite it for his own benifit.

Thats probably what the rush of adreneline is. Him haveing the sudden urge to exploit that other human being

Needs more explanation. Is this a feeling of panic or arousal?

I've never felt I wanted to exploit anyone. Not consciously anyway.

Kolodny, it feels more like a nice rush rather than a panicky one.

You're in some kind of fetish land I think.

    That doesn't sound good :(

Is there a way to get rid of it?

    Nothing wrong with fetishes.

    *cough*

I don't think you can "get over" a fetish. However, imo fetishes aren't harmful until you start acting on them - and only then if they are offensive and/or dangerous to others.

If it's just in your own head, so what. Enjoy it.

Just so long as you manage to restrain the urge to beat off on the cast you'll be ok....
    [butthead]Uuuuh huh.[/butthead]

Sorry but it had to be said.

Fetishes are nothing strange, they're just a response to stimulus - it's a learned response btw - tests have shown that you can "train" someone to become aroused by something as innocuous as paperclips. Provided your fetish doesn't hurt anyone or result in psychological difficulties for you I wouldn't worry about it.
