Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pop up ad's ?

    I just got a pop up ad for the book company of Ireland while surfing boards.ie! Boards.ie was in the only web browser I had open to boot.

    Is some mofo taking the píss Dev or you making shady deals again :)

    Not us. We never do advertising except in the top right there.
    You may have something like Kazaa installed which creates browsers even when not running... (evil little piece of sh|t that).

    Anyway, nope not us. Use Ad-Aware (freeware) and see what it spots, it does a pretty good job!

    Very odd indeed then. Iv never installed kazaa on any of my pc's for the very reasion you mentioned.

    This will require looking into.

    Get down Ad Aware.... it does a really good job of not only cleaning but spotting the feckers and telling you about them.

    Kazaa isnt the only thing that does this. Real does it too, as do a few more unscrupulous piece of invaderware [1]
