just to add that standing tickets for this seem to be all gone at this stage (at least you can't order them off ticketmaster.ie..).. only seated and wheelchair left...

glad i got mine last week anyway

Would it be possible if you have a seating ticket to sit down, then go downstairs once its begins and tell the bouncers you were taking a piss and your friend has your tickets in the crowd, so you can get into the standing area?

What are the chances of that working?

None at all in the Point, i'm afraid. They're really strict about that kinda thing.

IF, however, you know two people with standing tickets, get them to do the following:

They go into the standing area, one friend gives his ticket to the other, and the friend with two tickets walks out, gives you a ticket and you both go in!

Say you are diabetic/asthmatic and your gf/bf has your inhaler/medicine in standing area, could work or backfire as they escort you to the st johns ambulance, here comes the magic sponge.

Sooooo not gonna work, I tried to get upstairs at the last 2 gigs I was at in the Point, the security are *so* strict, sure they won't even let you into the main arena with a plastic cup of beer/coke whatever.

Try soundceller. they can sometimes have tickets when ticketmaster are sold out
