I'm thinking of buying a second hand Pace 2500B digibox. Has anybody experience with this model? Is it prone to problems.

I understand that Panasonic DSB-30 is the best, but those are also very expensive.

So far very happy and I give my digiboxes lots of ventilation and

I've got various fans installed see

The biggest problem with 2500 models is their tuner. It wouldn't be the most reliable!

The Panasonic receivers are best IMO. DSB30 has better tuner for fringe areas though the current model is the DSB31 and also available is a DSB35 which is from the outside, identical to the 31. AFAIK, the tuner is the same as the 30, though some say it just doesnt have a modem.:)
