    Kali,

    This is what I know.

    Gericom 19" DX-997N

by flat I mean totally flat. (or Pure Flat as it says on the boc)

    I think max res is 1600 x 1200 @75hz

    At 1280 x 1028 I think its 85hz definitely at 1024 x 768 its 85.

Below that I think it can go up as far as 160hz at 640 * 480.

There is a color temp control on it.

In effect it's not Gericom. Its made by Proview and it's just a rebadged Proview DX-997N

You can get the driver for this on www.proview.net, it makes the annoying resizing thing go away.

A poor picture can be found here. Looks better in the flesh tho'.

Still have to get my one fixed, perhaps its just the degauss that is broken. I can tell you though that its a 100% flat screen.

You have to forgive my judgement in this instance Kali, for the past 6 months, I have been using a 15" that cannot go beyond 60hz and no more than 800x600. This in a machine that has an XP2100 and a GF4 Ti4600. Talk about castrating a games machine. 1024 @ 85 seemed fantastic by comparision.

I have tested and it does indeed go to 120hz at this resolution. No more migranes for me !

    That's a nice looking monitor.
And a snip at €240 (unfortunately still being in studentland I don't have a snip) considering the resolution it goes to.
