Anyone made any freedom of information requests from the ODTR and the various Government Departments ?

Just wondering as I've made some requests recently and want to know how much information do you normally get back and how long does it take.

One each to the DoCMNR (Damn, even the acronym looks contrived!) and the ODTR.

You should get an acknowledgement of their receiving the request within two weeks. How much information you get back is dependent on how accurate your request is. That said, the recent leak of budget cutbacks arose from a FoI request for cutbacks specific to the area of Foreign Affairs, so you might get lucky.
