I was @ this gig in whelans last friday...great music from the 2 djs, mc gee and fallon, but the problem was with this band "the things" They are utter sh!te. their lead singer was about as original as a louis walsh boy band. he came out with a few classic lines during their set...."we are hearing different music through our monitors it's not ours...sort it" pity we couldn't hear that instead of their tripe. they nearly ruined a good night of music. worst stage dive ever. a sliced pan of bread on a school chair would of provided more original entertainment.

    I thought they were alright.

My problem was with the ****hole venue letting downstairs get so packed that I couldn't even lift me pint to me mouth (mortal sin that) before opening the upstairs bit...I just love that sweaty feeling...

It was way to packed and the crowd were uber dead too, no movement just loads of dodgy-haircut* mods looking at alan mcgee in awe.

    * I know I'm one to talk but...
