Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering am i banned from ICDG because any time i try to penetrate ICDG , i always get you do not have permission to access. I cant think of anything i may have done to warrant a banning from it. Tis most peculiar.

I vote to let him back in

(it's been quite a while, no complaints from users since, he was even Mod of Wicklow (I think) before it was combined with Dublin so DeVore's forgiven him, live & let live blah blah)

If it happens again (or anything similar) (which I doubt), ban him forever from everywhere.

I think Mr Bojangle would agree to that condition?

Cloud made him Mod (if he did). I certainly wouldnt have.
Mods (particularly community mods) are in control of their own communities.

The words "Bed" and "Lie in it" spring to mind, but its up to the ICDG mods to decide if he's apologised for previous behaviour or if they are happy with his likely conduct.

You own your own words... or images.

Firstly i cant express how much i regret that , i'm sorry for uploading it if you can forgive me, as i dont think anyone around here will forget any time soon as the scar tissue will always linger.

Thats the lewdest any of my posts have ever been and i'm a lot more restrained now. I even have two mods of the highest quality backing me up, that is to say the ludicrously satirical Mercury_Tilt and the beautiful sceptre (cheers guys), and not omitting the wise Gone Shootin(cheers) one of the most prudent and sensible members of this grandeur organisation, there could possibly be more. Even Devore is on the verge of joining the fanclub;), also Cloud had enough confidence in me after that HP incident to make me wicklow mod.

All of this must show that my character has changed drastically over the past few months and hopefully that i'm not such a muppeteer, and if i do step out of line again (which is highly unlikely) you can ban me completely.

Like I said, I dont have any strong feelings about it but its the ICDG communities call. I'm not about to over rule any decisions they make and will back them whatever they decide. ICDG has been a text book community (much like IOFFL) since they joined the Great Collective

I'm backing Damien on this one - if he banned you, it was obviously for a very good reason.

The ICDG forums are a family forum, and I wouldn't want to see anyone disrupting that.

In all fairness, i have not posted anything as crude or even on the verge of vulgarity since the aforesaid. In addition to this i have a couple of trustworthy and respectable guys speaking out for me. I was a newbie then unfamiliar with the principles and customs of boards. I have undergone a journey of change from newbieism through to the present day cleansed poster you see before you.

As righteous as my banning was, can you even give me a temporary lifting of the ban, and when the trial period finishes you can then make a proper decision, rather than going by my past record.

Right, my call so. Even though horse porn is against the principles and customs of most of the civilised world, let alone boards.ie, I will lift the ban, on a weeks trial period, because of what the others have said, including ICDG, the main mod on the community board.

Any muppetry again, it will be an instant 12-clicking from ICDG, no question.
