I just got it a few hours ago and so far its pretty good the dire voice acting doesnt help but it is a minor porblem, the water effect is quite special!Other opinions?

Got the american release a while back, great game, maybe even better than the first. The dubbing isn't bad, its actually quite good, a japanese option wouldn't have gone astray but you can't fault it much.
Gift system is pretty good and on first play thru' it lasts about 12 hours if you aren't in too much of a hurry. Touted as being longer than the first game.... it is but then again, about 50% of the rendered back drops are actually from the first game as you wander round gifu castle again.
Weapon abilities this time round make it a bit more interesting, as well the slim RPG element thats at the start in Imasho.

Only whine is that in order to see all the cut scenes involving the various sub characters and actually using them takes about 4-6 play thru's and after 3 i've had enough :)

It has a trailer at the end for onimusha 3, which is according to the trailer, the last game in the trilogy....didn't know it was a trilogy but 3 looks mighty promising. Must import it when ever it hits japan.

Its a pity that the rpg element leaves us so early havent cleared it yet but im coming close mighty impressive game but a bit lazy just using Gifu again.
