Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

x10 Popup Ad?

    I just closed an x10 pop-up ad there about 3 mins ago. Now that I look I don't think that I've had anything except boards.ie open since I started browsing.

    I'm pretty sure that I'm not running any ad-ware either.

    Could this be happening on boards?

    Doubt its coming from boards. Check your PC for Spyware.

    I'm pretty sure that I'm not running any ad-ware either.

    I should have been more explicit. I'm not running any spyware. I've just rescanned with Ad-aware to be sure.

    Run RefUpdate to update your signature file and scan again.

    Yeah the only explanation can be spyware really. Or one of those porn mpegs that contain a link to popups when u watch them. Crazy.

    Something is wrong locally, possibly Kazaa (even Kazaa lite has spamware in it btw! and isnt picked up by Adaware on my machine).

    No porno mpegs, beautiful girl threads, warez, adware, illegal drugs, alien probes or anything like that.

    I just rechecked my history - I'd forgotten opening acronymfinder.com briefly - scare over. I was just wondering if somone had hijacked the banner ads or if it was something in somones sig that was responsible - it wasn't.

    It's all dahamsta's fault with his "td&h". I still don't know what he meant...
