2v2 league info (teams etc.)

    this is a list of teams signed up.

    carl33to, ch
    molly, dermo
    benji, koopa
    zero, beast
    devore, lucutus
    vincent, saik
    rapierx, kraz0r
    dest, spaceman
    killy, casc

    there are people who signed up but did not specify their team.
    you cant play without a team !!!

    the format is being changed to a clanbase style cup.
    im in the process of making the groups today so if there are any more teams to be added, plz do so before 12:00 tonight.

    killy has expressed an interest in writing reports etc. so he will be a senior admin... what he says goes :P

    groups will be announced hopefully tommorow and games will get underway by friday/weekend.

    9 teams, 2 groups

    //group a//
    zero, Beast
    Dest, Spaceman
    carl33to, ch

    top 2 teams from each group progress to next round
    each team gets at least 3 games.

    first round games begin friday (time TBA)
    1 week is given to complete these games

    maps-ztn3dm1, pro-q3dm6

    each match consists of two games (20 mins), one on each map
    overtime is 5 mins long.

    How about having a shield aswell, for the people that don't make the top 2 in each group. That way everyone gets even more games :)

    im being a pain in the hole moll, but imo, less games are better, more incentive to play,less hassle, less dropouts.
    and if people feel all left out and **** hah, they'll be all bitter.
    so the thing could be expanded if there is a next time because they'll want a shot.

    games can/will get underway today (friday 11th oct) , prolly sometime after 6 or so...

    with the server not upgraded (altho ppl can still use it) im giving 2 weeks to get the first round matches started.
    dont have to play on cloud btw, but it will the be the only option for the modemers i should think

    no fixtures .. just grab a team outta your group and play them, 20 mins on dm6, 20 mins on ztn

    1 more thing...
    either record demos of your game AND take a screenshot of the final scoreboard
    or
    get some1 to 'admin' the game... the admin will just watch and take a screenie at the end

    this is so we can write reports and stuff as the league progresses.

    as for who you can grab as an admin... me,killy, any of the fh lads (theyve got nothin better to do anyway :P), machine, benji etc. (you get the picture)

    there have been some games played, and there has also been probs with 2 teams which might mean they'll be merging into 1 which would give 8 teams again.... carl33to will be on tonight anyway i'd say so he'd be the one to ask
