i was won over by the fact that he said jg rollins had previously written 'barry trotter and the philosophers scone' which had to be called 'harry potter and the magic biscuit in america'/ so far it had failed to really impress, but its ok to pass the itme;

Just finished Jack Kerouac's on the road..
Had to read it, also because it's one of those classics..

Currently half way through Iain Banks' Whit.
A great read.. Really enjoyable..
