Theres speculation about whether Mick would go to Sunderland if he was offered the position. Apparantly, according to people close to him say he would leave the Republic for Sunderland. Apparantly he still feels her was shafted during the Roy Keane affair. Any thoughts?

He knows that after Saipan and the Russian result that he is now fighting an uphill battle to get 100% the support of the fans. He would be wise to get out now rather than wait for things to turn worse.
