Nirvana's Teen Spirit or Blur's Song 2. It really is pathetic innit?

There are not the two songs i had in mind.

What gets me is that they've taken a great tune and put the worst lyrics over it. Really is a ****e song!!!!!!

Well thats what it sorta sounds like to me. Teen Spirit with Song 2's tunings.

Its more or less the powerchords of F, Bb, G dampened and the powerchord of C. Thats what it sounds like to me. Or maybe its just my ears.

I think it is a complete and utter rip off of suicidal tendencies "I saw your mommy(and your mommy's dead)" even the guitar solo sounds very similar.

I knew i wasn't hearing things. If you listen to L7s "pretend we're dead" she hates me sounds exactly the same. Sadly L7 ripped off Suicidals "i saw your mommy".

This is a little out of left field but I think the verses out of 'She Hates Me' are complete rip off of the song 'Summer Nights' from the film GREASE.

Sing this from 'she hates me':

'Met a girl, thought she was grand
fell in love, found out first hand
went well for a week or two
    then it all came unglued'

and and then compare it to to these lyrics from the grease song

'Summer lovin' had me a blast
    Summer lovin', happened so fast
I met a girl crazy for me
I met a boy, cute as can be '

Same melody as far as I'm conderned!

i saw your mommy and your mommies dead
i watched her as she bled
chewed up toes on her chopped up feet
i took a picture coz i thought it looked neat

but the thing i liked seeing the best
were the rodents using her hair as a nest
i saw your mommy and your mommies dead
i saw your mommy and your mommies dead

by the way, if you listen tot eh micheal jackson song with slash init, cant remember the name of hand, but the riff in that is a total rip from how will i laugh tomorrow when i cant even smile today (heavy emotional version) from 'feel like ****, deja vu'

just for the tendencies buffs out there :)
must get an other ST tattoo!

    Very good, pigman :)
It is a **** song, they have some fairly decent songs on their album that they *could* have released instead.

Yes, indeed WWM... I'll agree with ya there for once ST are an excellent band. Gotta love Rocky George's solo on "How Can I Laugh Tomorrow...". Pretty damn good!

I saw ST in London recently, and I have to say that they were far better than I had expected.
And the auduence were by far the most mentalist I have seen , since the last time I saw Slayer.
I was far too old to go into the pit!
