Scart switch info needed!!!!

I run everything through my nicam video with 2 scart inputs.The problem is I have 4 satellite receivers and a DVD that I want to run and switch them in and out.At present I run 3 satellite receivers and a video sender thingy using 2 scart splitters ie 1 plug in and two sockets out.
I used a scart button switch but I got leakage.
Has anyone been successful in running such a setup I would appreciate and feedback and sites.

I'd recomment buying a cheap A/V amplifier to switch between the various inputs. I appreciate that you have more A/V gear than your average amp can cope with, but you could use it to isolate the 'noisy' equipment that's causing leakage and use your existing SCART cascading setup for the other stuff.

N.B. you'd also (probably) have to invest in some SCART to S-Video (S-VHS) convertors.

Also, I'm sure that there are some 'higher quality' SCART multi-taps available that will reduce the leakage.

I found a crowd selling a remote control SCART splitter, which you could use for your satellite receivers?

As a side issue, which satellites are you receiving feeds from? Four receivers? (maybe hook up a new thread in icdg-->Satellite to respond to this Q. ?):)

Yes I think I will buy it but I'll look for it in here in Belgium and I'll go UK if I cannot get it here.
Re your question I have a Grundig digibox to watch RTE on $ky A Panasonic digibox with a FTV card a Manhattan 2500 APCI for various satellites a Humax 5300 on which I'll watch the match on SF2 tonight and a DVD player.
So now you see my need.
I'll keep you posted and appreciate your interest.

I use a manual scart switcher, its a 4 block one, one scart from the TV out to my TV, one scart from the PS2 into A, VCR into B and Digisender into C, works perfectly, its almost identical to the first link you guys posted up, its available in Argos Too if thats any help. A remote control one would be nice though, save you having to get up:D

its more advanced than that one, its got some Audio Out and Comp Vid in connections too

thats close to it there except mine has a few more phono connectors. theres feck all leakage between the ports and you can reverse the flow of data by hitting a button, its nice and handy.

Was in my local electronics shop and got a 3 in 1 out scart switch box.I explained to the owner that a switch I bought from him before leaked.He said take this one and if it is satisfactory come back and pay.I took it home and it is exactly what I'm looking for, cost 18 euro's not for free but it saves all the hassle of plugging things in and out.
