Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Euro forum.... where now?

'noon all, I was trying to look up some old posts regarding the launch of the Euro, and I remember there was a Euro board. I cant find it now, and also any post that I had in relation to it. Did it merge with another forum or have those posts disappeared into thin air?

Yeah, I'm aware that the forum for the Euro Price hikes is available, but what I'm looking for, is posts from the Euro forum which we had at the launch of the Euro notes and coins, at the turn of the year. It stopped around Feb/March time. Cant find one post to that board, and its not incorporated into the recently set up Price Hike board.

Yours still miffed.

Oh I have thought of lobbying to have Pirce Hikes turned into a more General Euro bashing err I mean a more General Forum on the issues entailed in European socio-economic and political integration, but I'm not sure people would be sympathetic to such a concept.

The Euro forum was merged into the Business/Economy forum after the changeover period.

See reference to it in the B/E Charter here

Any issues re: the Euro are fair game Of course this board has now superceded the Euro Board and all of the original posts can now be found on this forum.

Its a pity it got merged, cos it makes it harder to search, i.e, all the posts to the Euro around the start of the year are mixed with Business / Economy threads of that time....
