I finally decided to go for overclocking my comp. The specs are:
    Abit SR7-8X mobo
    P4 2.4b (533)
    512 Meg DDR 2700 - no name
    Asus GeForce 4 Ti4600
Innovatek watercooloing on graphics & CPU

So far I have managed to get my FSB to 159 - giving me a CPU speed of 2872 Mhz. My vCore is set to 1.55, DDRvCore is set to 2.6. My peak temp (30 mins ut2003) is 42 degrees.

However, if I try to increase my fsb anymore, the system gets quite unstable. The agp and pci clocks are locked at 66 / 33.

Have I reached my limit, or is there a way to squeeze some more out of this baby.

You could try to up your voltage a bit more .It should handle 1.6 .

Thanks a million - that seems to have improved things. after uping my vCore to 1.65, I now seem to be stable at 2958 Mhz. I think thats as far as I'll push it for now :D
