    Not officially afaik, but they are available in the UK in right-hand drive now, so you could import one from there. It'd probably cost a small fortune though. If you didn't mind having a left-hand drive car, you could get one from Europe I'd say.

    i spotted one for sale this mornig on my way to college. it's in victor motors up to road (towards the goat pub) from the clonskeagh mosque. it's a 01 d reg and is silver

    I knew I had seen one for sale somewhere.
    That's the only place I've seen though, and there was only the one.

    I am just back from Tenerife and hired a Smart for 3 days. The cost was €140 for 3 days of hire unlimited mileage including insurance from Niza Cars. €6 extra for second driver. http://www.nizacars.com/english.htm

    The Smart is a blast to drive quick enough on any roads. It has a 6 speed semi automatic gearbox. Believe it or not the cabin space is very roomy remember the car was designed for 2 people with no luggage. Parking one of these is so easy and you can get into very small places.

    The car attracts a lot of attention. The even have twin exhausts at the rear and the rear tyres are 30mm wider at the back.:cool:
